Our LLM Legal Practice (SQE1&2) has strict entry requirements, one of which is that you must have successfully completed study in the seven foundational modules of English Law. If you are missing only one, two or three of these modules, we offer study of individual modules without having to complete the entire SQE Law Essentials course.

Overview

These modules cover the essentials of the key foundation areas of law that align to the Solicitors Regulation Authority specification of Functioning Legal Knowledge (FLK) for the SQE:

English Legal System and Constitutional Law (including Retained EU Law)
Contract Law
Tort Law
Constitutional and Administrative Law
Criminal Law
Land Law
Trusts

The individual modules will run alongside the full SQE Law Essentials course and tutor guidance will be provided. You will not need to attend an induction however we will send you details of induction tasks to complete and details of how to use our materials.

Note: If booking more than 3 standalone modules, we recommend the full SQE Law Essentials course.

There are no exams and this course does not lead to an academic award.

There are practice assessments in each module that anticipate some of the demands of the SQE1.

On completion of a Practice Assessment for each module, you will have fulfilled the requirement to complete the module.

Please note: we strongly recommend purchasing a maximum of 3 individual modules only. If you wish to purchase more, then you should purchase the full SQE Law Essentials course.

Instalment plans are specific to the course and mode of study. The details will be shown when you select the instalment option. For example, a three-month instalment plan means that one payment is due each month for three months, with the first payment taken at the time of purchase.
