I have a question about my order or about using the eStore – who should I ask?

I cannot remember my password – how do I reset it?
At each log-in stage you will see a Forgotten Password button.  This will prompt you to enter your e-mail address, and a reset password link will be emailed to you almost immediately.  Click here to reset your password now.

Can I use the site if I am not a student or a staff member?
Yes, you certainly can, the site is on the World Wide Web, and therefore can be accessed by anyone. 

Is it possible for me to just browse the Online Store?
Yes, we are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, if you wish to buy you must register with us.  You can then place orders whenever you wish.

Is there a limit to what I can buy from the Online Store?
There may be some restrictions due to limited availability of items or limited capacity of events. If this is the case then the eStore may not allow you to complete your purchase.  To avoid disappointment, it is best to book for any events or courses as early as possible.

What if I can’t find the item I am looking for?

When I'm buying, can I change my mind as I go?
You can add or remove items from your shopping basket as much as you like before you finalise your order.

How soon do I get access to my online course materials?
Once you have made a purchase in the eStore you will receive an automated email within an hour to confirm your purchase. The Programme Administration team will then contact you within 24 hours (Monday - Friday only) to advise of next steps and when you will gain access to your materials.

How do I know that I have successfully purchased a product or service from the store?
Once the payment process has been completed you will receive an e-mail confirming the items you have purchased. If the email is not received within an hour please check your junk/spam folders. If it is not there, please contact us by email to ProgrammeAdmin@law.ac.uk.

Can I get an item delivered to a different address to the card holder?
Yes, as long as the address is added to your account.

How long will I wait for my goods?
We aim to ship paperback manuals within one working day of the order being placed. Delivery time depends on the postage option you selected and the country it is being posted to. I want to purchase a manual/course using my home currency, can I do that?
We currently only accept payment in GBP through the eStore.

How do I claim the Alumni Discount?
Alumni Discounts are available for all current and past ULaw students.
To receive £250 off the SQE Preparation course fee, enter COURSE followed by your six digit student reference number.
For 50% off the price of the study manuals, enter MANUAL followed by your six digit student reference number.
Both discounts can be applied to the same order if applicable.
If you do not have your student reference number, please contact the Progamme Admin team who will be able to assist.  ProgrammeAdmin@law.ac.uk 

What forms of payment can I use?
You can pay by card including MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Union Pay.

What do you do with my card details?
All payment details which are entered through this payment gateway are encrypted when the user enters them, and go straight to Stripe who process all our payments. Neither the University nor the eStore has access to your card details. Please see our Privacy Policy and Cookies for further details.

Can I pay by instalments?
You can pay for courses by instalments.  The instalment option is on the course page. If you opt to pay by instalments you will be required to pay the first instalment now to secure your place on the course.  Our finance team will be in contact with you to collect the additional instalment payments.  The instalment plans are specific to the course and mode of study – the details of this will be shown when you select the instalment option ie: 3 months – this indicates that an instalment payment is due every month for three months, the first of which is taken at the time of purchase.

How do I request a refund?
To request a refund for either a course or a paperback manual please contact the Programme Admin team on +44 (0) 1483 405679 or ProgrammeAdmin@law.ac.uk. Please include the order number in your correspondence.
